Purpose
This document answers the most frequently asked questions about installing, using and understanding the Pedlpro application.
What is Pedalling Quality (Pq)?
Pedalling Quality (Pq) is Pedlpro's proprietary metric for evaluating the quality and consistency of your pedalling technique. It is intended to monitor your own technical development over time.

Why is Pedlpro primarily designed for indoor use?
Indoor training provides stable and repeatable measurement conditions, making technical analysis and long-term comparisons significantly more reliable.
Which Garmin devices are supported?
Pedlpro supports a wide range of Garmin Edge cycling computers and Garmin smartwatches that are compatible with Garmin Connect IQ. The current compatibility list is available in the Garmin Connect IQ Store.
Do I need additional sensors?
Some advanced features require a compatible power meter or other supported Garmin sensors. Available functionality depends on the capabilities of your device and connected hardware.
How should I interpret my results?
Focus on long-term trends rather than individual rides. Review your Pedalling Quality (PQ), Coach recommendations and historical progress together.
Can Coach replace a cycling coach?
No. Coach provides automated technical recommendations based on your activity data. It complements, but does not replace, professional coaching or medical advice.

Application Issues
If the application behaves unexpectedly, restart your Garmin device, check that you are using the latest version of Pedlpro and Garmin firmware, then repeat the activity.
Unexpected Results
